जनश्न विमना: सर्वो5भवत्‌ त्राससमन्वित: । निमीलिते भूतपतौ नष्टसूर्य इवाभवत्‌

Transliteration

janaḥ sa vimanaḥ sarvo 'bhavat trāsasamanvitaḥ | nimīlite bhūtapatau naṣṭasūrya ivābhavat ||

Translation

ナーラダは語った。すると人々は皆うなだれ、恐怖が彼らを襲った。万有の主が眼を閉じたとき、世界はまるで太陽そのものが失われたかのようであった――畏れと、守護する秩序の喪失から生じた闇に沈んだのである。
