Śatarudrīya-prabhāva and Rudra’s Supremacy (शतरुद्रीयप्रभावः)
अप्रधृष्यतरं चैव महोरगसमाकुलम् । भगवान् भूतनाथका वह भयानक स्थान बड़ी शोभा पा रहा था। वह अत्यन्त दुर्धर्ष और बड़े-बड़े सर्पोंसे भरा हुआ था
apradhṛṣyataraṃ caiva mahoragasamākulam | bhagavān bhūtanāthakaḥ sa vah bhayānaka-sthānaḥ baḍī śobhā pā rahā thā | sa atyanta durdharṣa aur baṛe-baṛe sarpoṃ se bharā huā thā |
ナーラダは言った。「その場所は、きわめて手強く畏怖を呼び、みずからの恐るべき威容のうちに光を放っていた。ほとんど攻め落としがたく、大蛇が群れ集っていた—しかるべき敬虔と自制なくして恐ろしき領域に踏み入れば、危難が必ず伴うことを告げる不吉な舞台である。」
