Brahmapūjā-kāraṇa-prśnaḥ and Keśava–Viṣvaksena-stuti

प्रियो मे5यं प्रियोडस्पाहमिति सम्प्रेक्ष्य बुद्धिमान् वयस्यायैवमक्लिष्टं दानं दद्यादतन्द्रित:
priyo me ’yaṃ priyo ’smy aham iti samprekṣya buddhimān vayasyāyaivam akliṣṭaṃ dānaṃ dadyād atandritaḥ
ビーシュマは言った。「この人は私にとって愛しい、そして私もまた彼にとって愛しい」と省みて、賢者は怠けを捨て、友に対し、喜んで煩いなき施しを与えるべきである。これは私情と喜ばせたい欲（kāmanā）に基づく施与である。
