Transliteration

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | kathaṁ kebhyaś ca dharmyaṁ ca dānaṁ dātavyam iṣyate | kaiḥ kāraṇaiḥ kati-vidhaṁ śrotum icchāmi tattvataḥ ||

Translation

ユディシュティラは言った。「正法にかなう布施とは、いかに行い、誰に与えるのがふさわしいのか。いかなる理由によって人は施すべきか。さらに布施は幾種に分類されるのか。私はそれらすべてを、真実にして正確なかたちで聞きたい。」
