इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें प्रायक्षित्तविधि नामक एक सौ छत्तीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti prakāreṇa śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi antargate dānadharmaparvaṇi prāyaścittavidhi-nāmakaḥ ekaśata-ṣaṭtriṃśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

かくして、聖なる『マハーバーラタ』の『アヌシャーサナ・パルヴァ』、その「布施のダルマ（dāna-dharma）」の章段において、「贖罪の作法（prāyaścitta）」と題する第百三十六章は終結した。結語の定型は、過ちを定められた贖罪と浄化の行によって倫理的に正すべきことを説くビーシュマの教誨が完了したことを告げる。
