अवर्षति च पर्जन्ये सर्वभूतानि देवराट्‌ । वसिष्ठो जीवयामास येन यातो$क्षयां गतिम्‌

Transliteration

avarṣati ca parjanye sarvabhūtāni devarāṭ | vasiṣṭho jīvayāmāsa yena yāto 'kṣayāṃ gatim ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「雨が降らず、あらゆる生きものが苦しんだとき、大聖仙ヴァシシュタは彼らに命を取り戻させた。その命を与える行いによって、彼は不滅の境地（朽ちぬ界）に至った。」
