ब्रह्मविष्णुसुरेशानां स्रष्टा च प्रभुरेव च । ब्रह्मादय: पिशाचान्ता यं हि देवा उपासते

Transliteration

brahmaviṣṇusureśānāṁ sraṣṭā ca prabhureva ca | brahmādayaḥ piśācāntā yaṁ hi devā upāsate ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「ただ彼のみが創造者であり、至上の主である。ブラフマー、ヴィシュヌ、そして神々の王たちに対してさえも。まことに神々は彼を礼拝する—万有の存在とともに、最高位のブラフマーから最下のピシャーチャに至るまで—あらゆる位階を超えた唯一の根源にして統御者こそ、真の崇敬に値するのだと示している。」
