शक्र उवाच कः पुनर्भवने हेतुरीशे कारणकारणे । येन शरवददृतेडन्यस्मात्‌ प्रसादं नाभिकाड्क्षसि

Transliteration

śakra uvāca: kaḥ punar bhavane hetur īśe kāraṇa-kāraṇe | yena śaravad adṛṣṭe ’nyasmāt prasādaṁ nābhikāṅkṣasi ||

Translation

シャクラ（インドラ）は問うた。「おお主よ、因の因たる御方よ。宇宙の主シヴァの存在と至上性について、あなたがかくも確信する理由と証は何か。ゆえにシヴァを除くいかなる神からも、恩寵や加護を受けようとしないのか。」
