Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
यस्य रूपाण्यनेकानि प्रवदन्ति मनीषिण: । स्थानानि च विचित्राणि प्रसादाक्षाप्पनेकश:
yasya rūpāṇy anekāni pravadanti manīṣiṇaḥ | sthānāni ca vicitrāṇi prasādākṣā apy anekaśaḥ ||
賢者たちは語る。主シャンカラ（Śaṅkara）は無数の姿をとられる。御住まいもまた奇瑞にして多様であり、さらに御慈悲の賜物さえも種々のかたちで顕れる—すなわち、神性は一つの姿、一つの場所、一つの祝福のあり方に閉じ込められぬことを示すのである。
