भूमिदान-प्रसङ्गः । काश्यपी-पृथिवी तथा उतथ्य-वरुण-संवादः

यावच्च जायते मर्त्यस्तावच्छूरो भविष्यति । वह अपने सारे पापोंको धो डालता है और परलोकमें आधिपत्य प्राप्त करता है। फिर जब वह मनुष्ययोनिमें जन्म लेता है, तब शूरवीर होता है

yāvac ca jāyate martyas tāvac chūro bhaviṣyati |

スカンダは宣言する。「人がなお死すべき者として生まれ続けるかぎり、彼は幾度も英雄の気魄をもって生まれる。行いの浄化の果によって積もる罪を洗い去り、来世において主権を得る。そして再び人として生まれ来るとき、また勇気と英雄の資質を授かるのである。」
