Viṣṇu-sahasranāma—Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry and Bhīṣma’s Recitation (विष्णोर्नामसहस्रम्)
अरुन्धत्युवाच तपोवृद्धिर्मया प्राप्ता भवतां स्मरणेन वै । भवतां च प्रसादेन धर्मान् वक्ष्यामि शाश्वतान्
aruṇdaty uvāca | tapovṛddhir mayā prāptā bhavatāṁ smaraṇena vai | bhavatāṁ ca prasādena dharmān vakṣyāmi śāśvatān |
アルンダティーは言った。「あなたがたが我を想起したことにより、我が苦行の力は増し加わった。さらにあなたがたの御厚意によって、いま永遠のダルマの諸原理を、その慎み守るべき内奥の意義とともに説き明かそう。聞きなさい。これらの教えは、信を具え、心の清らかな者にのみ授けるべきである。」
