अस्माकं परितोषश्न अक्षय: परिकीरत्त्यते | इस तरह निष्कपट भावसे किया हुआ दान अक्षय एवं महान् फलदायक होता है और उससे हमें भी अक्षय संतोष प्राप्त होता है--ऐसा शास्त्रका कथन है ।।
śakra uvāca | asmākaṃ paritoṣaś ca akṣayaḥ parikīrtyate | śraddadhānāś ca ye martyā āhariṣyanti santatim ||
シャクラ（Śakra）は言った。「われらの満足もまた尽きることがないと、シャーストラは宣言している。ゆえに、欺きなき開かれた心でなされた布施は不滅となり、大いなる果報を結ぶ。その布施によって、われらもまた尽きぬ安らぎを得る—これがシャーストラの教えである。さらに、信（シュラッダー）をもって施す凡夫は、絶えることなき子孫の系譜を得るであろう。」
