तेडप्येवं नाभिजानन्ति पितृकार्यविनिश्चयम् । वर्जयित्वा महात्मानं चिरजीविनमुत्तमम्
teḍ apy evaṁ nābhijānanti pitṛkārya-viniścayam | varjayitvā mahātmānaṁ cirajīvinam uttamam ||
彼らでさえ、このようにしては、祖霊（ピトリ）に対してなすべき務めの正しい決定を真に理解していない。ただし、至上にして大いなる魂を備え、最も優れ、長命なるその一人だけは例外であり、この理解から除かれてはならぬ。
