अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । गृहीत्वा रक्षसा मुक्तो द्विजाति: कानने यथा
atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | gṛhītvā rakṣasā mukto dvijātiḥ kānane yathā ||
ここでもまた古の逸話が引かれる。すなわち、森で羅刹に捕らえられた二度生まれ（ドヴィジャ）の者が、それでも解き放たれ救われたのは、力ではなく、慎み深い懐柔の政道によってであった。
