इस प्रकार श्रीमह्या भारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें शाण्डिली और सुमनाका संवादविषयक एक सौ तेईसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi antargate dānadharmaparvaṇi śāṇḍilī-sumanā-saṃvāda-viṣayakaḥ ekaśata-trayoviṃśatitamo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ
かくして『マハーバーラタ』「アヌシャーサナ・パルヴァ」中、「布施のダルマ」の部に属し、シャーンディリー（Śāṇḍilī）とスーマナー（Sumanā）の対話を述べる第百二十三章は終わる。これは、施与の義務と正しい行いに関するこの章の教えが完結したことを告げる正式の奥書である。
