Umā’s Inquiry and the Manifestation of the Third Eye (उमा–प्रश्नः तृतीयनेत्रोत्पत्तिः)
न त्वमल्पेन तपसा दानेन नियमेन वा । इमं लोकमनुप्राप्ता त्वं हि तत्त्व वदस्व मे
na tvam alpena tapasā dānena niyamena vā | imaṁ lokam anuprāptā tvaṁ hi tattvaṁ vadasva me ||
ビーシュマは言った。「わずかな苦行や施し、あるいは外面的な戒めだけで、この境地とこの世界に到ったのではあるまい。ここに至った以上、真の理を私に語れ――ありのままの真実を告げよ。」
