मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
देवकार्यपरो निन््यं॑ जुह्मानो जातवेदसम् | पौण्डरीकस्य यज्ञस्य फल प्राप्रोत्यनुत्तमम्
Bhīṣma uvāca | devakāryaparo nityaṁ juhvāno jātavedasam | pauṇḍarīkasya yajñasya phalaṁ prāpnoty anuttamam ||
ビーシュマは言った。「神々への務めに常に励み、日々、万生の起こりを知る火神アグニ—ジャータヴェーダス（Jātavedas）—へ供物を火中に捧げる者は、パウンダリーカ（Pauṇḍarīka）祭の比類なき果報を得る。堅固で規律ある礼拝と奉仕こそが、最高の祭祀功徳へ導くのだ。」
