मनो5भिरामा मधुरा रमयन्ति मदोत्कटा: । उस विमानमें अप्सराएँ भरी रहती हैं

Transliteration

mano'bhirāmā madhurā ramayanti madotkaṭāḥ | tasmin vimāne apsarāḥ pūrṇāḥ santi, gandharvagītānāṃ madhuradhvaninā sa vimānaḥ pratidhvanati | tasmin vimāne divyābharaṇavibhūṣitāḥ śubhalakṣaṇasampannāḥ mano'bhirāmāḥ madamattāḥ madhurabhāṣiṇyaś ca ramaṇyo naraṃ taṃ ramayanti |

Translation

ビーシュマは天翔る車を描く。「そのヴィマーナにはアプサラスが満ち、乾闥婆の歌の甘き調べが絶えず鳴り響く。内には天の宝飾をまとい、吉相ことごとく備え、心を奪い、歓喜に酔い、言葉も甘やかな女たちがいて、その男を楽しませ慰める。」この段は、功徳の報いとしての天上の魅惑を示しつつ、快楽はあくまで果報であってダルマの究竟ではないとほのめかす。
