मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
स रथैनन्दिघोषैश्न पृष्ठतो हानुगम्यते । देवकन्यासमारूढै: काउ्चनैर्विमलै: शुभै:
sa rathair nandighoṣaiś ca pṛṣṭhato 'nugamyate | devakanyā-samārūḍhaiḥ kāñcanaiḥ vimalaiḥ śubhaiḥ ||
ビーシュマは語った。「彼の後ろには多くの戦車が従い、歓喜の勝鬨を響かせ、その轟きは雷雲の深い鳴動のようである。黄金にして、汚れなく、吉祥なるその戦車の上には、天界の乙女たちが乗っている。この一節は、法（ダルマ）の道徳的果報—とりわけ布施（ダーナ）と規律ある修行の実り—を、光り輝く整然たる行列として描き、正しき者を讃え、その功徳を高らかに告げるのである。」
