Angiras Teaching
haṃsasārasayuktena vimānena sa gacchati
The verse uses the imagery of a divine chariot drawn by auspicious birds to convey that righteous conduct and accumulated merit culminate in an elevated course of life (or post-life), marked by honor, purity, and a higher destination.
Aṅgiras describes the mode of travel/attainment of a certain person: he goes in a splendid vimāna harnessed with swans and cranes, a conventional epic sign of celestial favor and the fruition of virtue.
