रक्तमाल्यं न धार्य स्याच्छुक्लं धार्य तु पण्डितै: । वर्जयित्वा तु कमलं तथा कुवलयं प्रभो

Transliteration

raktamālyaṃ na dhāryaṃ syāc chuklaṃ dhāryaṃ tu paṇḍitaiḥ | varjayitvā tu kamalaṃ tathā kuvalayaṃ prabho ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「赤い花の鬘は身につけるべきではない。学識ある者は白い花の鬘を身につけよ。ただし、主よ、蓮華とクヴァラヤ（青蓮）はこの規則の例外である。ゆえに、それらが赤みを帯びていても、身につけても咎はない。」
