गुरुणा चैव निर्बन्धो न कर्तव्य: कदाचन । अनुमान्य: प्रसाद्यश्न गुरु: क्रुद्धो युधिष्ठिर

Transliteration

guruṇā caiva nirbandho na kartavyaḥ kadācana | anumānyaḥ prasādyāśna guruḥ kruddho yudhiṣṭhira ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「いかなる時も、師に対して頑なに言い張り、争いを起こしてはならぬ。むしろ師をしかるべく敬い、柔らかに宥めて歓心を得よ。たとえ師が怒っていても、ユディシュティラよ、和解を求め、敬意ある振る舞いを保つべきである。」
