स ऋषीन् वाहयामास वरदानमदान्वित: । परिहीणक्रियश्वैव दुर्बलत्वमुपेयिवान्
sa ṛṣīn vāhayāmāsa varadānamadānvitāḥ | parihīṇakriyaś caiva durbalatvam upeyivān |
ビーシュマは言った。「授けられた恩寵から生じた驕りに酔い、彼は聖仙たちを自らの担ぎ手として仕えさせた。その結果、正しい法（ダルマ）の行いと定められた務めから外れ、ついには衰弱へと沈んだ――ダルマに由来する力を失ってしまったのだ。」
