य एवोक्ता: सुमनसां प्रदाने गुणहेतव: । धूपेष्वपि परिज्ञेयास्त एव प्रीतिवर्धना:

Transliteration

ya evoktāḥ sumanasāṃ pradāne guṇa-hetavaḥ | dhūpeṣv api parijñeyās ta eva prīti-vardhanāḥ ||

Translation

シュクラは言った。「神々に花を捧げることで得られると説かれた功徳と利益は、香を捧げる場合にも同様に当てはまると知るべきである。香もまた神々の歓喜を増す—このことを知れ。」
