अथ सर्जरसादीनां गंधै: पार्थिव दारवै: । फाणितासवसंयुक्तर्मनुष्याणां विधीयते

Transliteration

atha sarjarasādīnāṁ gandhaiḥ pārthiva dāravaiḥ | phāṇitāsavasaṁyuktaṁ manuṣyāṇāṁ vidhīyate, pṛthvīnātha! |

Translation

シュクラは言った。「大地の主よ、人間の用には人工の香合せが調えられる。サルジャなどの樹脂の香りに、土性・木性の芳香材を合わせ、甘い蜜と醗酵した精（エッセンス）をもって練り固める。これが人々が主として用いる合香である。」
