Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
सद्यः प्रीणाति देवान् वै ते प्रीता भावयन्त्युत । संकल्पसिद्धा मर्त्यानामीप्सितैश्व मनोरमै:
sadyaḥ prīṇāti devān vai te prītā bhāvayanty uta | saṅkalpasiddhā martyānām īpsitaiś ca manoramaiḥ ||
シュクラは言った。花を供えて礼拝すれば、人はただちに神々を喜ばせる。喜んだ神々――その意志は必ず成就する――は、人の願いを栄えさせ、望みかなう麗しい享楽を授けて、その安寧を支える。
