Householder Duties and Daily Offerings
तथैव चानुपूर्व्येण बलिकर्म प्रयोजयेत् । दक्षिणायां यमायेति प्रतीच्यां वरुणाय च
tathaiva cānupūrvyena balikarma prayojayet | dakṣiṇāyāṃ yamāyeti pratīcyāṃ varuṇāya ca |
ヴァーユは言った。「同じく、バリの供献も順序に従って行うべきである。南の方角にはヤマに、西の方角にはヴァルナに捧げよ。」この教えは、儀礼の行為を秩序ある道徳宇宙の中に据える。定められた手順を守り、方位の守護神を敬うことが、家のダルマと世の安寧を支えるのである。
