उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel
वर्णावरो5हं भगवन् शूद्रो जात्यास्मि सत्तम | शुश्रूषां कर्तुमिच्छामि प्रपन्नाय प्रसीद मे
varṇāvaro’ham bhagavan śūdro jātyāsmi sattama | śuśrūṣāṁ kartum icchāmi prapannāya prasīda me ||
ビーシュマは言った。「福徳具わる御方よ、善き人々の中の最上よ。私は諸ヴァルナのうち最も下にある者、出生によりシュードラです。ここに留まり、聖者たちに誠心こめて奉仕したいのです。どうか私をお憐れみください。私は帰依を求めて参りました。」
