Āstīka-stuti at Janamejaya’s Sacrifice (आस्तीकस्तुतिः / यज्ञप्रशंसा)
स क्षिप्रमुदकं स्पृष्टवा रोषादिदमुवाच ह । पितरं तेडभिसंधाय तेजसा प्रज्वलन्निव
sa kṣipram udakaṁ spṛṣṭvā roṣād idam uvāca ha | pitaraṁ teḍabhisaṁdhāya tejasā prajvalann iva ||
彼はすぐさま水に触れ（儀礼の作法として）、怒りのうちにこの言葉を発した。意を汝の父に定めると、彼は炎の力に燃え立つかのようであった——その憤怒は誓願の重みを帯び、呪詛にも似た決意となった。
