कश्यप उवाच प्रजाहितार्थमारम्भो गरुडस्य तपोधना: । चिकीर्षति महत्कर्म तदनुज्ञातुमरहथ

Transliteration

Kaśyapa uvāca: prajāhitārtham ārambho Garuḍasya tapodhanāḥ | cikīrṣati mahat karma tad anu-jñātum arhatha ||

Translation

カシュヤパは言った。「苦行の富を備えた方々よ。ガルダ（Garuḍa）のこの企ては、衆生の利益のために起こされたものだ。彼は大いなる業を成し遂げようとしている。ゆえに、どうか許しを与えていただきたい。」
