Transliteration

taruṇādityasaṅkāśaś cīravāsā jaṭādharaḥ | padmapatrānanaḥ piṅgus tejasā prajvalann iva ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。彼は朝の若き太陽のように輝き、樹皮の衣をまとい、髪をジャター（結髪）としていた。顔は蓮の花弁のごとく清らかに映え、黄褐の光を帯び、苦行のテージャスによって内なる霊力が燃え立つかのようであった。
