न चैनमभ्यजानंस्ते तदा विकृतदर्शनम् | अथीैनं परिपप्रच्छु: को भवान् कस्य वेत्युत,उस समय उसका रूप बदल गया था। पाण्डव उसे पहचान न सके; अतः पूछने लगे --“तुम कौन हो, किसके पुत्र हो?”
na cainam abhyajānans te tadā vikṛtadarśanam | athainaṁ paripapracchuḥ ko bhavān kasya vety uta ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。――そのとき彼らは、姿形が変わっていたため彼を見分けられなかった。そこで詰めて問うた。「お前は何者か。誰の子か。」
