ते5चिरेणैव कालेन सर्वशस्त्रविशारदा: । बभूवु: कौरवा राजन् पाण्डवाश्वलामितौजस:,राजन्! अमिततेजस्वी पाण्डव तथा कौरव--सभी थोड़े ही समयमें सम्पूर्ण शस्त्र- विद्यामें परम प्रवीण हो गये
te 'cireṇaiva kālena sarvaśastraviśāradāḥ | babhūvuḥ kauravā rājan pāṇḍavāś cāmitaujasaḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「王よ、ほどなくしてカウラヴァたちはあらゆる武器と武芸の道に悉く通暁した。パーンダヴァたちもまた—測り知れぬ剛勇を備えた者たち—同じく完全な熟達に至ったのである。」
