Jñāna-hetu-nirūpaṇa
On the Causes/Means of Knowledge
वेदा ह्येते वेदयन्तीति देव तथा पुराणं भारतं पञ्चरात्रम् / क्रमादितो विचिन्त्य सा विष्णुगुणान्स्वयोग्यान्सदा विजानाति रमापि देवी
vedā hyete vedayantīti deva tathā purāṇaṃ bhārataṃ pañcarātram / kramādito vicintya sā viṣṇuguṇānsvayogyānsadā vijānāti ramāpi devī
おおデーヴァよ、これらが「ヴェーダ」と呼ばれるのは、知を明らかにするからである。同様に、プラーナ、バーラタ（マハーバーラタ）、そしてパンチャラートラもまた然り。初めより正しい順序に従って省察するなら、女神ラマー（ラクシュミー）でさえ、己の霊的器量にふさわしいヴィシュヌの徳を常に悟るのである。
