हीनकल्पं न कुर्वीत सति द्रव्ये फलप्रदम् / चण्डालो जायते यज्ञकरणाच्छूद्रभिक्षितात

Transliteration

hīnakalpaṃ na kurvīta sati dravye phalapradam / caṇḍālo jāyate yajñakaraṇācchūdrabhikṣitāta

Translation

財があるなら、欠けた形や卑しい形で儀礼を行ってはならぬ。正しく成された祭祀のみが果を結ぶ。もしシュードラ（Śūdra）の施しとして得た食を用いて供犠を行えば、その行者はチャンダーラ（caṇḍāla）として生まれると言われる。
