FAQs

This verse assigns specific functions: Aghora for purification, Tatpuruṣa for binding/establishing the cord or rite, and Īśa for offering incense—showing a structured, mantra-based sequence.

Indirectly, it highlights the Garuda Purana’s emphasis on correct ritual performance and purification as supportive disciplines that traditionally accompany samskāras connected with protection, transition, and spiritual order.

Maintain sequence and clarity in any sacred practice: cleanse first, establish the core act with focus, then conclude with offerings—prioritizing purity, intention, and disciplined procedure.
