कललं बुद्ब्रुदमयं ततः शोणितमेव च / पेश्याः पलसमो ऽण्डः स्यादङ्कुरं तत उच्यते
kalalaṃ budbrudamayaṃ tataḥ śoṇitameva ca / peśyāḥ palasamo 'ṇḍaḥ syādaṅkuraṃ tata ucyate
まずそれはカララ(kalala)となり、小さな泡の塊のようである。次いで血となる。そこから肉の塊が生じ、さらにパラーシャ(palāśa)の量ほどの卵形が現れる—これをアン कुर(aṅkura)、すなわち芽生えと呼ぶ。
