Vyāsa’s Vision, the Power of Bhāgavatam, and the Arrest of Aśvatthāmā
sūta uvāca śrutvā bhagavatā proktaṁ phālgunaḥ para-vīra-hā spṛṣṭvāpas taṁ parikramya brāhmaṁ brāhmāstraṁ sandadhe
After hearing Kṛṣṇa’s instruction, Arjuna prepared to counter the grave threat of a brahma-weapon by invoking the Brahmāstra with proper ritual purity and reverence.
It indicates purification, composure, and respectful alignment with sacred procedure—showing that even in battle, such mantras and weapons are employed with discipline and dharmic restraint.
Act after receiving wise guidance, steady your mind through a purifying pause, and respond with disciplined, proportionate action rather than impulsive reaction.
