It is the concluding purification bath performed after completing a Vedic sacrifice, marking the formal completion of the yajña and the return to auspicious daily life.
After finishing the sacrifice and its concluding rites, the sages observed the traditional avabhṛtha bathing ceremony at the holy lake known as Rāma-hrada.
It highlights finishing sacred duties properly—completing vows, rituals, or service with purity, gratitude, and a final act of cleansing and dedication to the Lord.
