Draupadī Meets Kṛṣṇa’s Queens — Narratives of the Lord’s Marriages and the Queens’ Bhakti
दिवि दुन्दुभयो नेदुर्जयशब्दयुता भुवि । देवाश्च कुसुमासारान् मुमुचुर्हर्षविह्वला: ॥ २७ ॥
divi dundubhayo nedur jaya-śabda-yutā bhuvi devāś ca kusumāsārān mumucur harṣa-vihvalāḥ
天には太鼓が鳴り響き、地上には「ジャヤ!ジャヤ!」の勝利の声が満ちた。歓喜に震える神々は花の雨を降らせた。
This verse describes the devas joyfully showering flowers and celestial drums sounding, indicating divine celebration and approval of the Lord’s pastime.
Śukadeva describes how both heaven and earth respond to the sacred event at Kurukṣetra—victory cries and heavenly drums mark auspiciousness and divine rejoicing.
