Uddhava’s Counsel: The Jarāsandha Resolution and Kṛṣṇa’s Arrival at Indraprastha
एवं सुहृद्भि: पर्यस्त: पुण्यश्लोकशिखामणि: । संस्तूयमानो भगवान् विवेशालङ्कृतं पुरम् ॥ ३० ॥
evaṁ suhṛdbhiḥ paryastaḥ puṇya-śloka-śikhāmaṇiḥ saṁstūyamāno bhagavān viveśālaṅkṛtaṁ puram
このように、善意の親族に囲まれ四方から讃えられつつ、清き名声の頂の宝珠たる主クリシュナは、飾り立てられた都へと入城された。
Śrīla Prabhupāda writes: “While Lord Kṛṣṇa was entering the city, all the people were talking amongst themselves about the glories of the Lord, praising His transcendental name, quality, form, etc.”
This verse shows Kṛṣṇa being surrounded and praised by His well-wishing devotees as He enters the decorated city—highlighting that glorification of Bhagavān naturally accompanies His presence and is a core expression of bhakti.
Because He is the supreme object of pure praise—foremost among all who are celebrated by sacred, purifying verses—since remembrance and glorification of Kṛṣṇa sanctify the heart and the world.
Keep saintly association and consciously praise the Lord—through chanting, reading, and speaking His names and pastimes—so your daily “entry into the city” (work, home, society) becomes spiritually decorated by devotion.
