Pūtanā-mokṣa — The Witch Pūtanā’s Attempt and Kṛṣṇa’s Deliverance
pṛśnigarbhas tu te buddhim ātmānaṁ bhagavān paraḥ krīḍantaṁ pātu govindaḥ śayānaṁ pātu mādhavaḥ
This verse shows Mother Yaśodā and the Vraja-devīs invoking Krishna’s own divine names—Govinda and Mādhava—as protective guardians for Him in every activity, such as playing and resting.
They invoke an ancient, revered form/name of the Supreme Lord—Pṛśnigarbha—to affirm that the same transcendental Bhagavān is present as their child and can therefore protect His devotee even while appearing as a baby.
Bring daily activities under divine remembrance—mentally offer your work, play, and rest to the Lord by chanting His names and praying for clarity (buddhi) and protection in all circumstances.
