ゴーピーたちは数多の足跡を手がかりにクリシュナの道を追ったが、それが主の最愛の伴侶の足跡と深く交じり合っているのを見て心乱れ、こう語った。
In Canto 10, Chapter 30, the gopīs follow Kṛṣṇa’s footprints through the forest, and their longing intensifies when they notice His footprints mingled with those of another woman.
Because the intermingled footprints suggested that Kṛṣṇa was walking intimately with a particular gopī, stirring both jealousy and deeper longing in their mood of separation (viraha).
When you feel distance from God, channel that ache into remembrance—hearing, chanting, and sincere prayer—so longing becomes a force that deepens devotion rather than discouragement.
