Brahmā’s Prayers to Lord Kṛṣṇa (Brahmā-stuti) and the Restoration of Vraja’s Lunch Pastime

According to Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī, even one who is only inclined to hear and chant the pastimes of Lord Kṛṣṇa will achieve spiritual perfection. Many devotees seriously engaged in propagating Kṛṣṇa consciousness are often so busy that they cannot chant and hear the pastimes of the Lord to their full satisfaction. However, simply by their intense desire to always chant and hear about Lord Kṛṣṇa, they will achieve spiritual perfection. Of course, as far as possible one should actually vibrate these transcendental pastimes of the Lord.
This verse says that one who hears and chants Kṛṣṇa’s intimate Vraja pastimes—such as His lunch with the cowherd boys—and glorifies His divine forms attains all the aims of human life.
Because it reveals Kṛṣṇa’s sweetest intimacy (sauhārda) with His devotees in Vṛndāvana; hearing such līlā nourishes bhakti and leads the listener toward the highest perfection.
Make time to regularly hear Bhagavatam narrations and chant Kṛṣṇa’s names and līlās—through study, kīrtana, or audio recitation—so devotion becomes steady and life’s priorities align with spiritual fulfillment.
