पत्नी यदृश्यते पत्नी यक्ष्यमाणा जरितरोऽथामो दैव। होता विष्टीमेन जरितरोऽथामो दैव
patnī́ yád ṛ́śyate patnī́ yákṣyamāṇā jaritaro ’thā́mo daivá | hotā́ viṣṭīméná jaritaro ’thā́mo daivá
When the Wife is seen—when the Wife, about to sacrifice—O Singer, then is the divine might. The Hotṛ, with ordered attendance—O Singer, then is the divine might.
妻が見られるとき——妻がいま祭を行おうとするとき——歌い手よ、そのとき神なる威力が現れる。ホートリ（Hotṛ、招請の祭司）が整えられた奉仕と秩序をもって——歌い手よ、そのとき神なる威力が現れる。
