Dhaumya said: “O great king, on that mountain many wondrous sights are to be seen. That holy peak—attended by companies of divine seers—is like heaven itself in its beauty and delight.”
धौम्य उवाच
Sacred places associated with realized sages are portrayed as ‘heaven-like’ because they elevate the mind toward purity (puṇya) and reverence; wonder here functions ethically as a prompt to humility and spiritual aspiration rather than mere spectacle.
Dhaumya addresses the king and describes a particular mountain as holy and extraordinary, frequented by divine seers, emphasizing that many marvels can be witnessed there and that its atmosphere resembles heaven.
