तत्राल्पेनैव सिध्यन्ति मानवास्तपसा विभो । जम्बूमार्गो महाराज ऋषीणां भावितात्मनाम्
tatrālpenāiva sidhyanti mānavās tapasā vibho | jambūmārgo mahārāja ṛṣīṇāṃ bhāvitātmanām ||
There, O mighty one, people attain success with only a little austerity. O great king, that is the Jambūmārga—the path frequented by sages whose selves are disciplined and refined.
धौम्य उवाच
Spiritual accomplishment depends not merely on the quantity of hardship but on the purity and discipline of the practitioner; in a sanctified context associated with realized sages, even modest austerity can bear swift fruit.
