eṣā yajñabhūmir hi devānām abhisaṃskṛtā | tatra dattaṃ sūkṣmam api mahad bhavati bhārata, bharatanandana ||
Pulastya said: This is indeed a sacrificial ground, consecrated by the gods. O descendant of Bharata, O joy of the Bharatas, even the smallest gift offered here becomes great in its spiritual and moral fruit.
The verse teaches that place and consecration matter in ethical action: a gift (dāna), even if materially small, gains great merit when offered with reverence in a sanctified sacrificial setting.
Pulastya is describing the special sanctity of a particular yajña-site to a Bharata prince (addressed as Bhārata/Bharatanandana), emphasizing that offerings made there yield amplified spiritual results.
