Prācī-diś Tīrtha-kathana
न्यवसत् परमप्रीतो ब्रह्मा च त्रिदशै: सह । तत्र देवहदे स्नात्वा शुचि: प्रयतमानस:,श्रीपर्वतपर देवी पार्वतीके साथ महातेजस्वी महादेवजी बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ निवास करते हैं। देवताओंके साथ ब्रह्माजी भी वहाँ रहते हैं। वहाँ देवकुण्डमें स्नान करके पवित्र हो जितात्मा पुरुष अश्वमेधयज्ञका फल पाता और परम सिद्धि लाभ करता है। पाड्यदेशमें देवपूजित ऋषभ पर्वतपर जाकर तीर्थयात्री वाजपेययज्ञका फल पाता और स्वर्गलोकमें आनन्दित होता है
nyavasat paramaprīto brahmā ca tridaśaiḥ saha | tatra devahrade snātvā śuciḥ prayatamānasaḥ |
Pulastya said: There, greatly delighted, Brahmā dwells together with the gods. Bathing in that divine lake and becoming pure, with a disciplined and concentrated mind, a person attains the merit of an Aśvamedha sacrifice and gains the highest spiritual accomplishment.
पुलस्त्य उवाच
Purity and inner restraint are presented as the true means to spiritual merit: bathing at a sacred place is effective when joined with a disciplined, focused mind, yielding results likened to great Vedic sacrifices.
Pulastya describes a holy site where Brahmā and the gods reside; he states that one who bathes in the divine lake there, becoming pure and mentally controlled, gains the merit of an Aśvamedha and attains supreme accomplishment.
