ततो गच्छेत राजेन्द्र धर्मप्रस्थं समाहित: । तत्र धर्मो महाराज नित्यमास्ते युधिष्ठिर,महाराज! तदनन्तर एकाग्रचित्त हो मनुष्य धर्मप्रस्थकी यात्रा करे। युधिष्ठिर! वहाँ धर्मराजका नित्य निवास है
tato gacchet rājendra dharmaprasthaṃ samāhitaḥ | tatra dharmo mahārāja nityam āste yudhiṣṭhira ||
Then, O lord of kings, with a collected and steady mind, one should proceed to Dharmaprastha. There, O great king Yudhiṣṭhira, Dharma himself abides continually. The counsel frames the journey not as mere travel, but as a disciplined turning toward the living presence of righteousness.
घुलस्त्य उवाच
Righteous action begins with inner composure: one should approach the realm or seat of Dharma with a focused mind, recognizing Dharma not as an abstraction but as an ever-present guiding reality.
The speaker advises the king—addressing Yudhiṣṭhira—to undertake a purposeful journey to Dharmaprastha, emphasizing that Dharma is said to reside there continually, making the destination spiritually and ethically significant.
